About Us
As a division of Pacific Western Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PacWest Bancorp (NASDAQ: PACW), CapitalSource makes commercial loans to small and middle-market businesses nationwide. Guided by a spirit of integrity and discipline since our founding, CapitalSource’s commitment and capabilities were strengthened when we joined forces with Pacific Western Bank in April of 2014.

Our Strength: Commercial Lending and Banking Solutions

With a proven asset origination platform and end-to-end control of the lending and underwriting processes, our strength lies in an effective loan process, industry expertise, national origination platform, thorough credit work, strong management, and access to balance-sheet liquidity as a division of Pacific Western Bank. CapitalSource emphasizes specialty lending across a diverse group of markets; we make senior secured, asset-backed, cash flow, and real estate loans up to $100 million, providing working capital and funds to acquire and revitalize businesses across the country.
