Mr. Miller is a Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Thorofare Capital. Mr. Miller has been responsible in all phases of the firm’s growth since its founding by leading the capital formation, investment strategy, and asset management as a Managing Member for all Thorofare fund vehicles. Mr. Miller is one of three key decision makers on Thorofare’s Investment Committee and has principally been responsible for new transaction origination and structure of every loan since the firm’s inception and over $400 million in successful investments since 2005 representing more than 70 transactions across 15 states. Prior to Thorofare, Mr. Miller invested in secured real estate debt across a broad spectrum of commercial property types on behalf of high net worth investors while working at a privately held Los Angeles-based mortgage bank. He also served on a team at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. that placed risk on over $85 billion dollars of real estate annually. Prominent firms represented included Maguire Properties, Arden Realty, GE Asset Management, Public Storage, and PS Business Parks. Mr. Miller is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Men’s Guild of the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Letters Arts & Sciences’ Economics Program where he is currently a guest lecturer.
