Frank Guerra obtained a law degree from the National Law Center at George Washington University with an on emphasis in real estate and transactional law. Simultaneously, Frank Guerra obtained from George Washington University a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Frank Guerra founded Altis in 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Guerra led a distinguished legal career most notably practicing real estate law at Bilzin, Sumberg in Miami. Afterward, Mr. Guerra embarked on a career in real estate acquisition and development co-founding a development company known as Neo. Frank Guerra served as President and oversaw most of the operational aspects of that company. Neo was a conglomerate of several companies including development entities as well as service companies such as Neo Realty, a real estate brokerage company. Neo conducted ground up development of three hi-rise residential condominiums along the Miami River: Neo Lofts (201 units), Neo Vertika (452 units) and Wind (495 units). In addition, Neo acquired other development properties, which were packaged for development and re-sold to other developers.
