Jerry Nickelsburg Adjunct Full Professor UCLA Anderson Forecast
Jerry Nickelsburg joined the UCLA Anderson Forecast in 2006 as a Senior Economist. At the Anderson Forecast he plays a key role in the economic modeling and forecasting of the National, and California economies and the Los Angeles, Bay Area and Southern California economies. He has conducted special studies into the future of manufacturing in Los Angeles, the distribution of income, the economic impact of the writer's strike, the aerospace industry, the undocumented construction and manufacturing labor force, the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and the garment industry, focusing on the development of new data and the application of economic theory and statistical methods to sectoral issues. His current academic research is on organizational and individual learning in manufacturing, and investment in specific skills. He is a regular presenter at Economic Conferences is regularly cited in the national media including the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Reuters. Sam Freshman President and Chairman Standard Management Company
Mr. Freshman founded Standard in 1961 and has been responsible for the acquisition, development and management of approximately $500 million of real property in 11 states and more than 25 cities. Earlier in his career, Mr. Freshman founded and was the managing partner of the law firm of Freshman, Marantz, Orlanski, Cooper & Klein, which merged with K&L Gates. Mr. Freshman is an expert on real estate investment and syndication and has served as Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at the USC Marshall School of Business, as well as an expert witness in over fifty cases. He has also been the author of numerous articles on real estate matters. Mr. Freshman received a Bachelor of Arts in pre-legal curriculum and his law degree from Stanford University. View Profile

Mr. Noah Hochman is the Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets for TruAmerica Multifamily and brings 17 years of real estate investment and private equity experience to his role. Mr. Hochman is responsible for sourcing equity capital, investor relations and debt strategy across the portfolio and oversees joint venture structuring and partnerships. Mr. Hochman is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining TruAmerica Multifamily, Mr. Hochman served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions at Triumph Management Company. Prior to joining Triumph, Mr. Hochman served as Vice President of Acquisitions for Granite Peak Partners.
