Eugene Rutenberg, Director of Continental Partners, specializes in commercial real estate debt and equity placement secured by multifamily, office, retail, industrial, senior housing, self-storage, and hospitality properties throughout the country. He joined Continental Partners as Director in November of 2015 and is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with more than eight years of lending, brokerage and private equity experience. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Rutenberg has successfully closed over $300 million of complex debt and equity transactions and has been mentioned in several industry trade publications including: The Commercial Mortgage Alert, The Crittenden Report, National Real Estate Investor, GlobeSt, BISNOW, RENTV, and REBusinessOnline.
Prior to joining Continental Partners, in July of 2014 he was an Assistant Vice President at Latitude Management Real Estate Investors and was responsible for sourcing, pricing, structuring, underwriting, and closing debt investments in "LMREC III;" the lender’s third balance sheet investment fund. Prior to Latitude, in August 2011 he was an Originator at Thorofare Capital, a middle market boutique hard money bridge lender based in Los Angeles. He began his career in 2008 as an investment banker.
Mr. Rutenberg graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, is a CA-licensed Real Estate salesperson, and is fluent in Russian.
