The demand for Denver is impactful in many ways: real estate has boomed, rents have risen and downtown has become dense. As Denver continues to urbanize, how will the surrounding suburban areas attract and adapt to newcomers? The possibilities are endless. Denver's Southeast Suburbs have proven to be prime for those who want urban lifestyle in the suburban market. From light rail accessibility, to trendy restaurant openings and amenity-rich apartments, the future is big and bright for Denver's hottest submarket. This submarket boom isn't just the word on the street, financial reports back the chitchat. According to a CBRE report, Interstate 25's office corridor has hit $25.04 / sq. ft, making rounding this to a "4.8% increase year to year." All in all, if all stacks up, does this mean the saying, "build it and they will come" will hold true to Southeast Suburban? Find out at this year's Future of Southeast Suburban Denver. Jeff Holwell Economic Development Director City of Lone Tree
Jeff Holwell is the Economic Development Director with the City of Lone Tree, Colorado. Jeff has served in a variety of economic development roles throughout his 15 year career in the Metro Denver region, including Director of Business Development with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and Chief Operating Officer with the South Metro Denver Chamber. In his role at the City of Lone Tree he is focused on retail development, business retention, and primary employer attraction for a growing, transit-oriented, and vibrant community in the southeast Denver corridor.
Bill Mosher Senior Managing Director Trammel Crow
Bill joined Trammell Crow Company in March, 2006. Bill oversees the Company's development and investment activities in Colorado. Projects include industrial, office, retail, residential and health care related uses. Bill also serves as CEO of the Denver Convention Center Hotel Authority, the non-profit corporation that financed, designed, constructed, furnished and now owns the $285 million, 1100-room Hyatt Convention Center Hotel which was completed in December 2005. Bill currently oversees Hyatt's operations on behalf of the Authority. Bill is an expert in the planning, developing and managing of urban real estate. A native of Denver, he has more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of urban real estate. Bill formed Mosher Sullivan Development Partners in 2003. Projects included the Hyatt and build-to-suit offices, including the new 315,000 SF Denver Newspaper Agency building in Downtown Denver. Bill previously was an owner, President and COO of Mile High Development (MHD). At MHD, he managed nearly $500 million in real estate projects, including the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building, the Cultural Center Parking Garage and the first University Physicians, Inc. build-to-suit project at the Fitzsimons Health Sciences Center. Bill served as President of the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP) from 1990-1999. At the Partnership he helped guide Downtown Denver's rebirth in the 1990s by advocating, planning, managing, promoting and developing central Denver, including forming the Business Improvement District (BID) and initiating a downtown housing development strategy culminating in redevelopment plans for the Central Platte Valley. Prior to his association with the DDP, Bill served as the Executive Director of the Downtown Development Corporation (DDC) and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) in Tucson, Arizona. Under his direction, more than $75 million in private investment dollars were attracted to DDC projects, including office, retail, parking facilities and more than 1,000 new housing units. He also managed the IDA's issuance of more than $500 million in industrial revenue bonds for various commercial and residential projects in the City of Tucson. View Profile
Keith Simon EVP Coventry Development Corporation
Keith D. Simon is the executive vice president and director of development for Coventry Development Corporation. Coventry manages and develops the real estate assets-large land tracts in Colorado, Texas, and Florida, as well as mixed-use buildings in New York City. Coventry focuses on transformative real estate development with mixed-use, compact planned communities that begin with major new employment uses, ultimately adding amenities and enhanced value to the surrounding community. Judy Sutton VP Finance & Administation KORE Investments
Judy joined the KORE team in early 2018 and has spent the last 13 years in Commercial Real Estate focused in accounting, finance and property management for primarily office, distribution, flex warehouse and shopping center assets. In addition to Commercial Real Estate, Judy has an extensive background in Finance and Accounting which includes leadership roles in large multi-billion dollar companies. She was the Vice President and Controller for Multifoods Distribution Group where she had full scope financial responsibility for this $2 billion dollar foodservice distributor. Prior to Multifoods, Judy worked for The Gap, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. during a time when the company emerged as an industry leader where she held several finance and accounting positions including SEC Reporting, Budgeting/Forecasting and Strategic Planning. Judy began her professional career with Price Waterhouse in the Audit Department. Judy brings to KORE Investments a well-rounded, multi-faceted background consisting of finance, fiduciary responsibility and a strong knowledge of business operations. Rob Mackenzie SVP Crescent Real Estate
Rob Mackenzie serves as senior vice president at Crescent Real Estate LLC in the Denver, Colorado office. Mr. Mackenzie joined Goff Capital Partners in February 2007, prior to its conversion to Crescent Real Estate LLC in 2016, overseeing multifamily acquisitions. While at Goff Capital Partners/Crescent, Mr. Mackenzie has been involved in the acquisition and management of approximately 6,000 apartment units and various other commercial properties. Prior to joining GCP, Mr. Mackenzie spent six years at Berkadia/Capmark (formerly GMAC Commercial Holding) as a director in the Global Structuring and Distribution Group. While at Capmark, he managed and closed more than $7 billion of securitizations in both Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) and Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO's). Mr. Mackenzie also ran the loan pricing group and priced over $10 billion in loans for securitization and sale to third parties. Prior to Capmark, Mr. Mackenzie spent two years at Fitch Ratings as an associate director in the CMBS group. He earned a Bachelor of Business degree in finance from Lehigh University

Billy Woodward Vice President Transwestern
Billy Woodward specializes in office agency leasing, providing customized advisory services for investment and entrepreneurial owners of commercial real estate. Billy joins Whitney Hake, previously with Cushman and Wakefield, in targeting both local and institutional office product. The team seeks to provide innovative solutions to a new age of portfolio ownership and management through the integration of cutting-edge technology, coupled with extensive market knowledge and experience. Prior to joining Transwestern, Woodward was an Associate Director with Newmark Knight Frank handling agency leasing and sales in office, flex and industrial product in southeast Denver, executing more than 150 transactions totaling more than 3 million square feet valued at $400 million. Before Newmark, he handled special projects at Inverness Properties, including providing competitive market research and generalized marketing strategies. Billy graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in psychology and an emphasis on statistical analysis in research.
